Funimation also increases prices as part of creating a unified subscription service
Crunchyroll revealed that as of October 31st that it will increase its monthly subscription price in several territories, across its mix of web and mobile services, including:

Crunchyroll and Funimation are adjusting prices in a selection of international markets for some Premium plans "as part of creating a unified subscription service."
Funimation prices will also change across its web and mobile services in Australia, Canada, Chile and New Zealand. In addition, some Funimation service prices will decrease in Brazil, Colombia and Peru.
Funimation increased its prices on August 31 as it transitioned to becoming a unified subscription service with Crunchyroll. The costs for the Premium plan increased from US$5.99 per month to US$7.99 and US$7.99 to US$9.99 for the Premium Plus plan.
Crunchyroll lowered its monthly subscription price in almost 100 countries and territories in July.
