Prime8's message to you:

We are excited to announce the launch of the Scottish Amateur Fight League on the 22nd of April.

Amateur Fight League - Scotland will be sanctioned under the MTGB government body and sponsored by Foodplus Granton and Alternatyva Contractors.

The venue for the Amateur fight league will be Deans Community High School, Eastwood Park Knightsbridge, Livingston EH54 8PS, 5 min walk from Livingston North train station and Prime8.

This is the first time we’ve put on an event like this and in this format. We hope to build a strong amateur scene. With the knowledge that we’re surrounded by so much local and national talent, who are willing to participate and support.

For any gyms, trainers, or volunteers interested in taking a part, we ask you to send a list of fighters with their details, (Weight, experience, age etc) as soon as possible, as we are matching fighters now.

We’re extremely pleased that the interest in the event has reached so many gyms already, from Ireland, England and Poland and beyond.

Rule set :

Over 18 years old 3x3 min, shin pads, elbow pads, headgear. FTR

16-18 years old 3x2min shin pads, headgear, elbow pads, body shield ( head contact allowed, no

knees, elbows to the head)

Under 16 as above no head contact.

We will match fighters based on their weight (catch weight), experience and age if needed.

Weigh-in will be on the same day as the event at 10 am.

We will be running a Sparathon the same day, before the event (12 pm-2 pm) Just around the corner at our gym Prime8 Martial Arts, 8 Carmondean Centre, Livingston, EH54 8PT
