Anime Coming Fall 2022

Andre Simon

3 Sept 2022

We have an exciting final quarter to the year ahead of us.

Hey Everyone, I trust you are all keeping well.

Over the past month or so we have had some big news be announced in the anime world. Some of you may have read about or heard me talk about it on my Instagram stories.

From October 1st 2022 we are in for an absolute rollercoaster of a ride in the anime world. This final quarter is about to shake the anime world and ready our souls for what's to come in 2023.

I only thought it was appropriate to share this news with you all.

So coming Fall 2022 we have the following anime ready to air and where you can watch it:

My Hero Academia Season 6: October 1st, 2022 - Crunchyroll

The latest season (fifth) of My Hero Academia ended on November 7, 2021. So in just under a year, season 6 is finally about to begin.

Here is the newly released trailer from TOHO Animation on YouTube.

Spy x Family Season 2: October 1st, 2022 - Crunchyroll

I only watched the series toward the end of August and all I want to know is why did no one tell me to watch this Spy x Family sooner?

Anya is by far the cutest character to hit anime screens in a long time. Not only that, the dynamic of the show was absolutely amazing. Now the family is back for more. I have not read the manga so all of this will be a treat for me.

Golden Kamuy Season 4: October 3rd, 2022 - Crunchyroll

Fans have been waiting years for this show to have the next season announced let alone start. The last season (third) of the series finished airing on December 24th, 2018.

So it is fair to say we have waited long enough. The Golden Kamuy Season 4 anime will feature “Immortal” Saichi Sugimoto and Asirpa journeying through Karafuto, back to Hokkaido after they’re reunited. Asirpa has recovered her memories and now holds the key everyone is desperately seeking.

Mob Psycho 100 Season 3: October 7th, 2022 - Crunchyroll

Another show that I caught up on in August after starting it some time ago but never got around to finishing the series.

I guess for me Mob Psycho 100 was one of the shows that I had to have a second go at to appreciate.

Blue Lock: October 8th, 2022 - Crunchyroll

Now, many have said that Blue Lock is possibly the best sports manga written to date. Having never read it, I found this interesting being a big fan of Haikyuu!! manga and anime.

This may call for me to go and read the Blue Lock manga as after seeing the trailer, I can see why they say it may be one of the best sports manga. If executed correctly, it could just be one of the best sports anime to hit the screens. Fingers crossed that this isn't rushed and allows us to see some real character development.

The journey for Japan to create the ultimate striker is upon us.

Welcome to Demon School Iruma-Kun Season 3: October 8th, 2022 - Crunchyroll

What can I say about this one here? I was sceptical when I first started watching it but I am sure glad that I did.

Welcome to Demon School Iruma-Kun is just such an amazing show. The school's morning anthem gets me every time and is reason enough for you to watch it.

The last season finished airing on March 7th, 2020. So we more than deserve this.

Yowamushi Pedal: Limit Break: October 9th, 2022 - Crunchyroll

I have waited for more than long enough to watch this. Yowamushi Pedal: Limit Break brings us the third and final day of the inter-high competition.

It has been four years since the last season finished. I am more than ready to see this.

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Arc: October 10th, 2022 - Disney+

Let me start by telling you that the rights to Bleach have allegedly been secured by Disney+. With Disney being a family-orientated brand, I hope this doesn't affect the show. Outside of it being a business deal, I do not even want to think about how this came to pass because it makes no sense to me as and many others as hardcore anime fans.

The return of my least favourite of the BIG 3 (Naruto / One Piece /Bleach). For some reason, it took me three times to watch the main series to appreciate Bleach. It still sits at the bottom of the BIG 3 for me but all I can say is that if this is done correctly, it could hands-down be the best anime arc of all time.

The series originally aired in October 2004 and finished in March 2012. Ten years down the line we finally get to see witness the animation of the final arc.

Welcome back Ichigo Kurosaki.

Chainsaw Man: October 11th, 2022 - Crunchyroll

Well well well, now this one right here might just be the bloodiest anime of the new era. We know they don't make anime like they used to but MAPPA may just do us justice with this one. Chainsaw Man has to be one of the most highly-anticipated anime to hit the screens this year.

Denji, our MC just wants to live a happy and peaceful life, spending time with a girl he likes. But in his reality, however, Denji is forced by the yakuza into killing devils in order to pay off his debts. Using his pet devil Pochita as a weapon, he is ready to do anything to rack up the cash.

Unfortunately, he has outlived his usefulness and is murdered by a devil in contract with the yakuza. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Pochita merges with Denji's dead body and grants him the powers of a chainsaw devil. Now able to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, a revived Denji uses his new abilities to quickly and brutally dispatch his enemies. Catching the eye of the official devil hunters who arrive at the scene, he is offered work at the Public Safety Bureau as one of them. Now with the means to face even the toughest of enemies, Denji will stop at nothing to achieve his simple teenage dreams.
